Mr. Ivo A. Tasong is Co-founder of AttivaSoft, LLC headquartered in Columbia, Maryland and serves as President of its International business division. AttivaSoft provides strategic information technology solutions that help organizations maximize the value of their IT assets in managing customer interactions. Mr. Tasong is also Co-founder and Managing Partner at GBC International, based in Yaoundé, Cameroon. GBC adapts innovative building solutions for the African Market per its mission to accelerate the construction of durable, cost effective and environmentally friendly buildings for the modernization of community living in Africa.
As an active volunteer and community organizer, he served as Board Chairman of the ‘All Cameroonian Cultural and Development Foundation (ACCDF, Inc)’ in the USA from 2004 until 2010. He is also an Executive member of the ‘African Affairs Advisory Group’ to the Montgomery County, Maryland, County Executive where he served as co-chair from 2010 until 2011.
Mr. Tasong and AttivaSoft were honored in 2010 and 2011 by the greater Baltimore-Washington region’s SmartCEO Magazine as winners of the ‘Future 50’ Award for businesses. He is a trained software engineer from Algonquin College of Applied Arts & Technology in Ottawa, Canada and lives in Silver Spring, Maryland with his beautiful wife Astrid and Children.
